About this policy

This policy explains how ViaCatalyst handles information when you visit or use the ViaCatalyst BYOD platform. BYOD converts robotics data into inspectable, training-ready datasets. ViaCatalyst is the controller of account and service information unless an enterprise agreement states otherwise.

Information we collect

• Account information: your name, email address, profile image, authentication-provider identifier, organization membership, and sign-in activity.
• Workspace content: robotics logs, videos, CSV, HDF5, configuration, mappings, generated datasets, validation results, and related metadata that you upload or create.
• Service and device information: IP address, browser and device details, timestamps, job status, processing duration, input/output size, storage usage, and diagnostic logs.
• Commercial information: plan, contracted capacity, usage totals, billing contacts, and invoice information for enterprise customers.

Google and GitHub sign-in

If you choose Google or GitHub, the provider and our authentication service, Stytch, send us the basic identity information needed to create and secure your account. This generally includes your name, email address, profile image, and provider identifier. BYOD does not request access to Gmail messages, Google Drive files, GitHub repository contents, or permission to act on your behalf in those services.

How we use information

We use information to authenticate users, provide and secure workspaces, process data, validate outputs, measure usage, support customers, investigate failures, prevent abuse, improve reliability, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information or use workspace content for advertising.

Service providers and transfers

We share only what is necessary with providers that operate the service, including Stytch for authentication, Supabase for application data, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure for production processing and storage, and Google or GitHub when you select their sign-in option. Information may be processed in countries other than your own, subject to contractual and technical safeguards.

Retention, deletion, and security

We retain information while your account or contract is active and as reasonably needed for security, billing, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. Retention may also be defined in an enterprise agreement. We use access controls, encryption in transit, and operational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to access, correct, export, or delete personal information, or object to certain processing where applicable. Organization administrators may manage workspace membership and content. Some records may be retained where law or a contract requires it.
